Hi, my Name is Ron West and I built this site to help people of my generation and who are new to the Internet, “Silver Web Surfers”, learn about the ‘real power’ of the Internet and how it can help you in your day-to-day life.

I struggled to come to terms with this incredible information highway the  Internet myself, although I have been involved with Computers, Networks and Communications for the majority of my life!

It wasn’t until I began helping other ‘Seniors’ with their computers at home, that I realised the true potential the Internet has in helping us “the Senior Generation” in our day-to-day lives.

I decided to learn exactly what the Internet could actually do to help me in my daily life, so that I could in turn help others of my generation. I know that there are a lot of us out there struggling as well, and although I can help people with the ‘techie’ stuff on computers, I wanted to also help people use the Internet and benefit from it too.

I can help our generation in many ways, first of all to be safe and secure on the Internet, secondly to have an effective and efficient ‘home’ computer, that works properly all the time, and does not confuse you!

I have a library of information that can help you in many ways; e.g. how to really use a home computer, how to communicate with all your friends and relatives for free on a global scale, how to use your e-mail effectively, how to organise and share your family photo’s, how to save money and if you want to even how to make some extra income, without spending a fortune!

I provided a unique ‘one-on-one’ help & tuition service, over the Internet for home based computer users. If you already have a ‘broadband’ Internet connection, I help you ‘over’ that connection, in ‘real time’,  hence there is no need for me to travel to your home  in order to provide that service.
